Change is in the air. As summer fades, new opportunities are just around the corner 🍁

As the summer heat cools and fall approaches, we’ve packed this month’s updates with features to save you time and fuel your facility’s growth. And this is just the beginning, even more improvements are on the way 👀

P.S. If you missed July's update, be sure to catch up. We launched Swift to the App Store, released account balances with Wallets, made style improvements to the booking page, and much more!

August Product Updates

Here's a look at what was released this month:

1. Self-serve event check-in

2. Invoices on account page

3. Coupon codes in retail

4. Instructors bookable outside of closed hours

5. Notes indicator on calendar

6. + dozens of bug fixes and improvements

👋  Self-serve event check-in

Until now, attendance tracking in Swift has been available only on the admin side. You’ve asked for a way to let clients check themselves in, and it’s finally here!

Here’s how it works:

Enable “Check-In” in your booking policy settings. By default, the check-in window opens 2 hours before the client's event, but it can be configured to open later.

Participants can check in from their own device using your unique URL or QR code. Or, display the check-in page on a tablet or computer at your front desk to reduce on-site check-in lines for events like camps and clinics.

Notifications (email, text, or push) can also be enabled, allowing clients to receive a reminder and a direct link to complete their check-in when it becomes available.

Clients can also check in directly from their Swift account activity page, which now shows upcoming and past events more clearly.

No matter how clients check in, Swift will automatically prompt them to complete any required waiver or payment before confirming attendance. This means less chasing down clients after the fact and a smoother check-in process for everyone.

📄 Invoices on account page

On the theme of self-service, your clients will see a new“Invoices” tab on their Swift account.

From this page, they can:

  • View and pay invoices directly
  • Share a secure payment link with another party
  • Download invoices for their records

This gives your clients more flexibility in how they pay and helps cut down on the hours your staff spends sending reminders and chasing down payments.

🤑  Coupon codes in retail

Following the launch of inventory tracking in June, we’re excited to roll out another big upgrade to retail: coupon codes.

Many of you have asked for this, and now you can create and apply discounts directly to product sales.

Have an idea or request? We’d love to hear from you. Our team is always building and adapting Swift to fit your facility’s needs.

🙋 Instructors bookable outside of closed hours

Until now, lessons in Swift were limited by your facility’s rental hours - a major hurdle for those looking to maximize revenue in off-peak times. That’s changing.

Instructor availability is no longer tied to your scheduled facility hours, meaning you can allow trusted instructors to book lessons earlier, later, or outside your standard schedule.

It’s a simple update with a big payoff: more flexibility for your staff, and more revenue opportunities for your business.

🛣️ The road ahead

At Swift, we’re focused on helping you grow your facility and making life easier for owners, staff, coaches, and customers alike.

Here's a look at what's coming soon:

  • Equipment add-ons & upsells
  • Lower processing fees & in-house membership billing management
  • Redesigned navigation and customer profiles
  • A smarter notification center (you choose how and when you're notified)
  • Team management
  • + a ton more in the pipeline

Got questions about anything in this update or anything else? Just hit reply. We’re always here to help.
